Halloween

My full disclaimer: I get an "F" as a mom for this Halloween, in the picture taking department.  No pictures of the boys sitting together, smiling sweetly in their costumes.  No ZooBoo (weather was cold and baby Cole was born that day!) and no Trunk or Treat (we forgot!!!) and no great pictures of actual trick or treating.  No excuses, I just forgot.

That being said...Here's the back of Charlie's ghost costume; he actually wore the top for a few houses.

And here's a shot from the front (sort of), although he has my athletic headband on, it was cold!!! so he might be mistaken for a nun...
Sam had a hard time with his costume falling over his face...he looks so happy :) but enjoyed walking the street with Coco (in town for baby Cole's birth)

 (Sam's hidden face again)
Sam, with the face rolled under, post cheese-ball eating (see the day-glow orange around his mouth? awesome)
We went down a few blocks where they do early trick-or-treating for little ones, then walked back up Washington Blvd just for the experience.  In our neighborhood, we live on a smaller street, so we only get about 30-40 trick or treaters.  The streets on either side of us are known for running out of candy after 600+ trick or treaters, and shutting off lights!!!!  It's mass chaos, but so much fun to walk around, almost like out of the movies--adults sitting around bonfires handing out candy, dads pulling wagons with beer in their hands, kids running and laughing from house to house.  The boys seemed to enjoy it; Charlie even walked up to a few houses on his own (big deal for our shy firstborn) and yelling "BOO!" before saying trick or treat.
