Children's Museum

Last Saturday we took Charlie to the Children's Museum for the first time. We got there early so it wasn't too crowded, and he had a blast! He loved the water at Playscape.

We couldn't get a smile out of him (or Scott either, for that matter...)

But he REALLY loved the Chihuli glass exhibit...he was allowed to play with the (heavy) plastic pieces to make artwork just like the real artist! We sat for 45 minutes and watched him run back and forth.

We'll be getting a membership soon!

Pregnancy Update

I admittedly haven't been very good with pregnancy updates on baby #2...the time has been flying by! I'm 38 weeks now and the baby could be here any day now (although I think it'll be another few weeks). I went to the doctor this morning and I'm still measuring right on, baby is head down and ready to go! I'm still feeling pretty good, although definitely slowing down quite a bit (or, my body is telling me to slow down...which hasn't kept me from cleaning out the attic, taking Charlie to the children's museum, etc).

Maggie threw a baby "sprinkle" for me last Friday with a few friends...wine (for some!) and appetizers--it was a great way to catch up with everyone before the baby arrives! Of course, we didn't take any pictures...

We're very excited to meet our little one! Taken last night...

New Years Eve

We spent New Year's Eve in Columbus with our friends the Crossleys. Of course, I end up with very few pictures (and NONE of the Crossleys!)...just wasn't thinking. Karen is due 2 weeks after me with their first--a little girl! We're really excited. Charlie LOVED their new basement--new soft carpet and a big comfy couch with "circle" pillows. He spent most of the weekend going up and down the stairs.

Thanks for hosting us, Crossleys!!! Can't wait to meet the upcoming baby girl.

Christmas with the Wells

We celebrated Christmas on the 26th at my parents house. Opening presents...we gave my parents (and Scott's parents) a large canvas of Charlie (in the background--it turned out great!)

Charlie's favorite thing to do at my parents (thanks to my mom) is sit on the pool table and push around the pool balls. We were never allowed on the pool table growing up--hmm, think the grandbaby is spoiled?
