Zoo Boo

A few weeks ago, we went to "Zoo Boo" (trick or treating at the Indianapolis Zoo). Charlie LOVED seeing the animals (and didn't really notice the "trick or treating"...I made him smile cute to get candy for me haha). We met up with our friends the Sweazy's and Millers but unfortunately didn't take any pictures of them...Charlie took off when we tried to get a group shot. Checking out the Polar Bear
Where'd he go?
(He's over there, dad)
The Tiger stalks the Rhino...
Charlie's expression when you say "Smile!" (nice hair, right?)
Alas, I think Charlie's favorite part of the evening was playing on the playground with Jaidyn...

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend I got to go to the pumpkin patch with my friends Ian and Jaidyn. We saw some animals before heading out to the patch.Daddy helped me pick out the perfect pumpkins

We even took a few family pictures (although I wouldn't smile)

I sat on a few pumpkins to test them out before buying...
And showed my pumpkins off to my friends (but started to scream when Ian touched my pumpkin)
We didn't want to smile but at least we sat still long enough for a "group shot"! I really liked the sunflowers, too. So did Jaidyn

Ian liked the flowers too, but didn't want to stick around for the group shot.

Stay tuned for more pictures from the rest of the trip!

Evidence of our (very short) camping trip

Last weekend when the weather cooled off, we decided to go camping. We went to Raccoon Lake (our first time) and set up camp Friday night. Charlie loved helping build the fire, and went right to sleep in his Pack N Play in the tent. The next morning he slept past 7am, and was so excited when he realized we were sleeping right next to him! Unfortunately, rain started around 9am and the radar showed it would last all day (despite a forecast 24 hrs before that said 30% chance) so we packed it up and came home. It was a wet disappointment. (We had our hobo dinners on the grill that night with Maggie and Rafa! And s'mores in the microwave)
