Exploring Indy: IMA's 100 Acres

I think I'll start a new "tag" for the blog--Exploring Indy. Now that I "stay home" with the boys (we do anything but stay home most days!) we'll hopefully get to see and do things that we wouldn't otherwise have time for...and see all Indy has to offer! (mostly free things, of course)

A few weeks ago we went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art's 100 Acres nature park...basically just a big park full of fun sculptures for kids to climb on and adults to enjoy.
Right alongside the parking lot, they have the first big sculpture. It's amazing how little it takes to entertain a 2 year old...Charlie's "bull dog" face came out when we told him it was time to move on...Cole looking like a model...also pouting that we were entering the park...(these boys were made for eachother)Photo shoot with Sam! He was right at 6 months when these were taken...
Love the face in the middle...
He's sitting on a giant skeleton sculpture in the middle of a field...Kissable cheeks...
My first attempt at a sibling shot. Yep, you heard right. When Charlie refused to sit next to Sam for a picture, Colvin ran right up and sat down next to "Sammy bo bammy".
Of course, that made Charlie run over as quickly as he could. But he wasn't going to smile! Love the look they're both giving me...Throwing rocks into the lake was a big hit with both boysWe don't even try for smiles...we're happy they're in the same frame :)Suddenly Charlie decided it was time to smile...

Not perfect, but still cute :)
One last stop at the favorite sculpture on our way out...
Fun day!
