I decided to try dying eggs with Charlie one afternoon...
We used just pink and yellow (saving the other colors for closer to Easter!) 
Charlie had a blast picking the eyes and mouths for the eggs (so much fancier than when I was a kid!)
(and we only had a few casualties, these eggs were dropped and soon eaten!)

It was a fun way to spend a rainy day!
Sam sat and smiled for most of the time...
and "big brother Charlie" insisted on showering him with more love
but then, it's back to work! grilling dinner for mom and dad while the Easter Eggs looked onward. (Charlie says, "He's a funny guy!" in reference to the eggs)
