Baby Nursery Pics!

Well Scott has been working like crazy the past week to get the nursery painted...the ceiling, trim, and then the walls (painting stripes requires a lot of taping). With all the paint dry, we finally put together the crib and we love it! With blinds and curtains, the basics are now covered...now comes the fun part of a rug and decor. Lexie tested out the crib (with Scott's assistance) and gave it the ok :)

Belly Pic

Well at almost 21 weeks I'm finally starting to "look pregnant"...although it can be easily hidden in winter clothes! Here's the most recent picture. Now that we know we're having a boy, we went to Jo Ann Fabrics today to pick out fabric for the window valances (good thing my mom can sew!) and came home with 4 sample pieces instead...too hard to decide! Once we pick out the fabric, Scott can start with the painting of the nursery! (on a side note, we can't post the ultrasound pictures because the scan quality is too poor...)

Lexie Pictures

We've had friends and family asking about how big Lexie is so we decided to take some pictures to post! She's as spoiled as ever and can't quite figure out why we're moving her out of "her" room...making room for the baby. Here's a couple of pictures of her--one from Halloween (not so much a costume...just an orange shirt) and another one of her on her new big bed--she now sleeps in our room at night. Scott took her to the vet this past weekend and she tipped the scales at 52 lbs...and growing!

IT'S A BOY!!

Katie is now 20 weeks and we went in for the ultrasound. We were hoping to find out the sex of the baby. The technician was able to tell us immediately that Baby Collevechio will be a boy! We are both excitied, especially Scott since he now gets to decorate the baby's room with boats (or let's say...accent the room with boats). We couldn't get our ultrasound pictures to scan in with good quality so we won't be posting...but if I can ever get the camera and the cord together I'll try to post a 20 week belly pic. Come back to see!

Baby on the way

As you already know, Katie and I are expecting our first child! We first found out on our annual family vacation to the Outer Banks in August. It was hard not to tell anyone but we made it through the week without leaking it. We wanted to wait and tell both of our parents when we would see all of them over Labor Day. Believe it or not, Katie was able to keep it a secret for 6 weeks!! (at least from her parents...she may or may not have told several random people, as well as Maggie)
